Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) issues and appeals involve a complex number of reporting and compliance issues that for most, is very intimidating. Our experience helps us to bring an unrelenting drive to every case, thereby ensuring the WSIB can decide cases on the real merits, facts and justice necessary. Our 30+ years of first hand appeals experience is a cornerstone of our success.
Unsuccessful appeals to the WSIB may be appealed to the Workplace Safety & Insurance Tribunal. Appeals at the Tribunal are simply more complex and involved. Our history of success has relied on extensive preparation and presenting complete facts. The WSIAT has consistently shown amazing insights into both the law and the need to have a checks and balances system that guards the integrity of the overall system.
Seemingly impossible cases are the ones we excel at by digging in deep. Every case receives full attention, analysis and forecasting. Our guiding mantra is “facts matter”. Our decades of experience matters. We know without doubt that we can assist in the care and management of your WSIB claims management system. If you don’t have one, we’ll bring that along.

The WSIAT is the final stage of appeals from the WSIB. This process is far more complex, as the Tribunal deals with more of the legal aspects of an appeal than the appeals branch at the WSIB. There is more preparation and attention paid to the facts and the flow of evidence. We have enjoyed great successes at this level.
Some clients prefer to give us more of the oversight role when it comes to claims management and appeals. This is especially true when complex cases are involved. In these instances, we can be trusted to handle all aspects of the claim management and resolution. The WSIB is working hard to establish solid stakeholder relationships that will benefit everyone.
